being kind is cool kids book - paperback

My toddler is loving, kind and generous - but like many two year olds, she struggles with sharing toys and occasionally gets physical (scratching or hitting) when upset. I decided to buy this book to see if it would help and honesty, it has transformed her behaviour when she is overwhelmed! She knows the words by heart, reads it in the morning and evening and takes pride as we stop on each page and think of examples of each thing (eg. For gentle, she tells me about how she was gentle with a friend etc). I also love the illustrations and the size is perfect for tiny hands. She even took it to nursery with her so she could read it with her key worker. I love the premise, and would not hesitate to recommend it. My only plea would be to do it in hardback too, as we have read ours so much it is worn out (but I take that as a great sign!)

This is such an amazing book. My daughter and I enjoy reading this together and it has helped her learn about being kind to others. It is such a special book full of colour and even though my daughter is two it has really helped her learn how important it is to be kind to others. Thank you Zara and Sky x

I bought this for my son and then as a gift for my little neice. He is only 1 so mostly likes looking at the colourful pictures, and i like the positive messages that i can read out to him while he does this. I will probably buy the book for him again as his is a little tatty now from him reading it so much! It’s such a lovely book.

I bought this book as a gift for my niece and nephew. Full of meaningful words, great for children of all ages. Very important to teach children to be kind from a young age. I'd recommend it to anyone with children.

This book is PERFECT, my little girl has asked for it again and again at bedtime. The colours and message are everything 🌈 but duhhh, wouldn't expect anything less from Zara!
